Itinerary description
A quiet, but a bit rough, trail run around one of the Lyutidol hills.
The path is mostly visible, but not well maintained and may be overgrown. Long trousers recommended. No water, food, except at the village.
Start at the crossroad in Lyutidol between post office, small shop and bus stop at road 161. Parking here is easy as well.
The climb starts immediately and you quickly exit the village. When crossing the (semi) paved road again, near the electricity tower, it may be difficult to see the path between all the grass. Follow the GPX track and you will find it again. The path climbs the south-east hill, between meadows and small forests and there are nice views of the surrounding hills.
After the top return over the north side. The beech forest here is beautiful and if the weather is good you can view the Vrachanski Balkan in the distance (and the small reservoir lake closer by). Many of the paths made by foresters are dead ends, so pay attention to the course here. The path then gets better and more gentle bit by bit, ending up where it began.
