Itinerary description
La Croce or the Cross is a little white dot that sticks out of the mountain on the eastern side of Bellinzona
The path is mainly paved with stones and well sign posted.
Please ignore my start and when you get off the train take the little bridge/passage that goes over the railway lines...from there you just need to follow the red/white markings and make sure you always go up.
It is an easy route in terms of the path but it packs quite over 1000 metres of altitude gain in 5 km. It ends up being more of a power hike on the up.
It is mainly forested so not much by way of views except for the pictures taken from clearings.
Done in 1h56 moving time.
Route continues up a little bit from La Croce but I had to abort plan.
