Itinerary description

I really wanted to run through the Rift Valley and see where Out of Africa was filmed. This route runs along the entire length of the four hills of Ngong and returns, undoing what has been done.
The Ngong Hills are peaks on a ridge along the Great Rift Valley, situated southwest of Nairobi, about 24 kilometers or an hour's drive.
You arrive at the main entrance where there is a sentry box with two payos dressed as badass soldiers. The truth is that they are very nice and they deducted 40 Schillings from me because they didn't have change. The entrance for non-residents is 740 Schillings.
From here we run along a wide and very simple track until we reach the first hill where the track becomes a path.
This is up and down all the time without any difficulty beyond the altitude and the steepness of some slopes.
The wooded areas break the monotony of the large pastures. There are herds of cows and goats, not much else. However, the flora is very interesting.
There is no water along the entire route. On the way back I found sellers of cane sugar juice and glucose pills. I preferred to wait until I got to town and have some tea because we're not here to bother our teeth.
It is a fun area to spend the morning.
