Itinerary description
There is a path around the south part of the island that makes for a fun hike/run (I labeled it trail run because you'll have to orientate every now and then and because I wanted it to be in the same category as the north-run).
I encountered some dogs with puppies that made it difficult to pass at RainForrest camping beach and I had a snake hanging on a branch over my path when I was almost back, but other than that there were few incidents. I left really early and used a headlamp for most of the route. There are some really steep parts (where they tried to build a brick road :o !).

From fishing village to Alunani beach is overgrown but still doable. From Alunani to Keranji is overgrown and interrupted by fallen trees. Some detours are needed, one in the shallow sea water, to workaround the interruptions and obstacles. In general the coast walk is not maintained, often collapsed. The amazing jungle is often polluted by trash and ruins of old buildings and resorts. It’s a shame the eco disaster and total no care about trash
