Itinerary description
Terrible conditions made this especially tough.
At ground level conditions were good and we knew it was going to get worse as we climbed but this was crazy. By 450masl visibility was low, patches of snow were on the ground, everything was wet, temperature had dropped considerably (it’s was only 10° to start with), and the wind had really kicked in. And it just remained that way until the top slowly getting worse and worse!
Ive never experienced such conditional changes in such a short period of time and low altitude change.
On a clear day in mid-summer this run would be awesome.
