Itinerary description
San Lorenzo de El Escorial is a nice area located in Sierra de Guadarrama. Is about 50km far from Madrid.
In this track, we started in our hotel (Hotel Florida) and took the street to the right. We continued straight and at the end to the left. In the junction we continued straight, and in next junction we took the road on the right. We continued by the fence and at the end we took to the left by the steps. We continued until we crossed a gate, then we turned to the right. We continued by the sandway, and continued straight until a green gate, where we turned to the left. We continued by the sandway and when we arrived to the road, we turned right until we saw the fence broken. We trespassed it and in the cross (pic.1), we came back on our foot. When we crossed the river, we continued straight instead of left. When the sandway finishes, we took to the left until the point we found where we came from, so we came back on our foot.
The way is steep and unpaved.
