Itinerary description
San Lorenzo de El Escorial is a nice area located in Sierra de Guadarrama. Is about 50km far from Madrid.
In this route we climbed from El Tomillar parking, going by the road and taking the road on the left. We turned left until La Caseta, and then right until the top of Abantos (pic.1). Then we came back on our foot.
The way is steep and unpaved.
