Itinerary description
Very nice trail....70% trail 30% asphalt (arrival in Baar-Zug. Poles helpful but not a must. With clear views great views of Zürich lake and Aegeri valley.At some point one crosses a point where Kanton Zug, Schwyz and Zurich meet (Dreiländerstein). The drop to Menzingen is through farmland. The track from Menzingen to Lorzentobel is quite pretty and it follows a stream called Höllbach which is tributary to Lorze. The area-views around Gottschalkenberg are worth a more relaxed visit. The run was on 23 October with slightly misty conditions.
