Itinerary description
Easy run with no complication other than the distance and height.
I would recommend
a) starting, finishing ins Schwyz which has more train connections
b) doing it in the opposite direction. The path to Haggenegg from Schwyz has A LOT of asphalt (easier to go up that asphalt and then enjoy the proper trail run onto Steinen)
For good views of Mythen best is to do it in current direction as you will be running towards it.
As of 24.3.2022 there was 20 to 40 cm of snow in the path from Haggenegg down to Schwyz for about 2 to 3 km. The shade of the trees preserves the snow longer in the forested section.
