Itinerary description
Normally a very easy trail in the summer.
I choose it in Winter because the descent from the ridge is as easy as it gets.
But in early March there will be patches of snow and ice, particularly on the north facing section which is very shaded and above 1100 metres. Crampons were worn for about 30% of the run.
2h43min moving time.. in dry conditions faster
Wildspitz is bypassed in this route, restaurant and views 500 metres to the left once you reach the ridge.
(if done in winter or with ice note that there is a tiny 5 metre pass secured with a cable which lies in a very shaded area and with hard packed snow ice, you could slip. That´s where I put on the crampons).
