Itinerary description
Route from Kirstenbosch to CableWay, going up by Skeleton Gorge and coming down by Eco Valley and Nursery Ravine. Around 5 hours with 15 min stop to drink a refreshment.
For turists visiting Cape Town, the route to Table Mountain are very well marked, but always precaution has to be taken, since there are some very steep, rocky paths. The most crowded part is the Smut's Track path. The rest could be lonely and dangerous.
Weather can change rapidly and get cold and rainy easly.
In general easy to walk but as in any part of the world precaution has to be taken as in any other mountain.
