Itinerary description
Very nice trail. For the most part immersed in the sand dunes, a little part on the beach. These dunes are of the last remaining intact dunes of the Belgian coast. A part of the trail also goes through Calmeynbos, which is a small but nice forrest. There is very little road in this trail, so it's almost completely off road.
I highly recommend this trail, it is a unique experience beeing in the dunes for miles and miles.
Running on sand is tough, so although it's only 23 km, it is not to be underestimated.
