Itinerary description
A short but heavy trail. For a lowland dweller like me that is... This trail starts with a hefty climb. Not too steep, just barely runable. After the initial climb comes a more comfortable middle part. Less steep, more like rolling hills. Later some nice single track, and then the descent into the village.
Some nice views on the St Croix Lake. Nice landscape throughout. But the most enchanting part of the trail is the delightful village of Moustiers Sainte Marie itself.
Be sure to start early if the weather is hot. The village center has limited parking space, if you don't find any free spots, there are alternative parkings at the village edge.
This trail of 10 k's was one of the side-events in the 2015 Verdon Canyon Xtreme.

Perfect round for 2,5 hours hike. Different landscapes and not so tactical so easy to manage.
