Ultra Trail Novas Manaslu (UTNM).

This competitive free trial, part of the village of Arughat Bazar at 608 m. of altitude, to cross the areas of the Manaslu and high of the Annapurnas.

During the 8 days of testing we will be able to feel temperatures that are around -6º and + 28º, we will travel 228 km, saving a cumulative positive elevation of 10,159 m. and negative of 7,918 m. making an accumulated total of 18,077 m.

We will follow the Boddhi Gandaki river basin through which we will enter the Manaslu National Park and we will gain height. The landscape and orography of the terrain will pass from embedded gorges formed by large depressions with abundant and varied vegetation, to open valleys of height in which the aridity of the mountain begins to make a presence, being able to contemplate during the 12 hours of daylight massifs like from Manaslu 8163m., Annapurna 8091m. and Dhaulagiri 8167m.

In the tour through the Manaslu National Park we will have to pass the Larkya La, a hill located at 5,160 m., And in the upper part of the Annapurna Park we will be obliged to cross the Thorung Pass at 5,416 m, a place that separates the districts of Manang and Jomsom. We will pass through different towns one from the other, although they have something in common, "their cheerful and sociable people", together with the beauty of the surroundings, they will collaborate in making us feel comfortable as we integrate in these lands bordering Tibet, town with which they have close social and cultural ties.
