Itinerary description
Easy but with a steep 2km uphill Timpelweid meadow zig zagging.. and broadly following the cable car.
Actual ascent is 1050 metres (the lake is at 436 and you go up to 1395 in Gottertli, that alone is nearly 1000 metres).
Very nice views, particularly on the Timpelweid uphill and on Gottertli
Going down the path is a bit dull.
Under wet conditions, the Timpelweid meadow can be a bit slippery.
The start is from Bahnhof but there may (I don't know) be car park space by the start of the cable car.
1h38 of moving time but it may be a tad longer because the GPS signal did not record when the uphill progression is less than 3km/h.
