Itinerary description
Finally, after three attempts spread over three years, I have successfully completed the entire Walensee loop by running!
The trail starts and ends in Weesen, which is accessible by bus.
The first half of the loop takes you through scenic trails, while the second half is on asphalt next to the lake.
Waypoints: Weesen - Walenstadtberg - Walenstadt - Murg - Weesen
Important note: There are two errors in the GPX data as I accidentally followed an incorrect path for a few hundred meters on two occasions (around 8km and 42km) during my run.
