Wickham Peak Forest Trail, Yarrabilba QLD. Starting from Quinzeh Creek Rd entrance near Plunkett Conservation Park.

This is a typical bushy trail that heads up to a surprising view of Brisbane City. You also can see the mountains of Luscombe with that Forbidden Quarry Transmitter I did a few months back... where Superman launched off from (you don't know about that, man? You live under a rock? See the video!), and on the southern side, Mt Lindesay at Scenic Rim region.

I descended down to another lower outcrop called Grass Tree Lookout which is more of the same. This is then where the typical me wasn't satisfied with the usual fire and dirt trails, so as usual I forged a path into the scrub trying to cut across back to the main trail called Grass Tree Break. It got quite interesting here in the thick sharp and spiky foliage, and the many barbs of various natives certainly kept me awake and aware of my nervous system's pain responses.... 😳

Powered through and back to the main trail, with 5 trail bike riders flying past with no regards to the NO TRAIL BIKES signage.... Can't blame them though, I certainly would do the same!

Back to the Peak Lookout, found a burnt out new 2018 $90,000 electric Tesla vehicle that had been driven over the edge just under the cliff edge. Such a shame. I then decided to descend the cliff edges and slide down the steep hill which short cut my route back to the car.

Overall, a nice new trail to run that is close to home, and has a nice outlook. Very dry and dusty today however.....and to be honest, totally boring too. 🙄
