Pioneer Cabin Trail A lot of steep switchbacks, and no water for horses beyond the trail access, except a couple of trickling springs. So, we made frequent stops to rest our horses.

Horse trail starting on Victoria St. in Peachland, BC. This trail connects up to the extensive trails around the Peachland Riding Club. This is a top loop above McCall Lake.

From hunt camp, this trail takes Grapevine to Buzzard Drive, crosses Burnt Cabin and travels down Airstrip Rd to the Dogwood Trail. Then Dogwood to Burnt Cabin, left on BC to camp/finish.

Went from parking area at stables, behind employee lodging to trailhead. Fist time with Pisco alone up here. Also first time I left lu at cabin alone.
Whetstone almost to Adeline Ford then Rocky Gap. Hard left from peak for fastest way to trailer. This was ridden prior to trail rerouting, but there is nice new signage.
Road diesel and had a great ride. There was a train wreck before and Becca’s horse flipped over on her. 30 seconds later, Chuck got kicked from the jaw by the same horse flipping over again.
