Pleasant roller-blade route from Brussels to the town of Mechelen through the Charleroi canal. It starts from the bridge van Praet (tram stop: van Praet). Follow the canal direction Antwerp. Watch the side of the cana...
Last month when I got onto Tibidabo for the first time, I saw the possibility of rollerblading. So today (11-S, 300th anniversary of Catalan Fall) I went again with my skates. PS. The backside of the Church is also sk...
Path can be a little rough. Definitely do able on 80mm wheels but I'd recommend 110mm. Drylaw Skatepark was a nice wee rest stop.

Avoiding the current roadworks at Cadgers Brae. Stop at Beancross farm as the end is just to take me back to Polmont
Important: In summer 2023 there was construction here. This path can still be done but requires a detour at the planetarium. Cross over to the other side of Wybrzeże Kościuszkowskie for a few hundred meters and then back...
Many thanks to all the people who helped me, talked to me, waited for me and kept me safe!!! Susana, Pau, Núria, Patricia, Ana, Gustavo, Mari, Yolanda, David, María Carmona, María Molina, Alberto, Raúl, Jose, Tony, Carl...
Probably shortest way to Mechelen although not the most beautiful. Look on my other routes for a route through the Charleroi canal and Kapelle-op-den-Bos. From bridge Van Praet (tram van Praet), go north-east along...
First on the beach FULL OF TOURISTS, then with friends till l'Illa, finally route interrupted by rain near Sagrada Familia.
Inline Skates ride from train station Sempach-Neuenkirch to Luzern. The whole route is asphaltic and most often not too steep, hence a good choice for inline skating.
All on main road with reasonable surfaces. Views were amazing, very little traffic and a "way out there feel" to the skating. The bit on the B road north to Daliburgh is lovely.
Adventure just about covers this!! There are ups, there are down's, some of the tar is rubbish whilst some is super smooth. All on single tracks roads so take car with passing cars.
This has been recently resurfaced and it is smooth as hell giving lovely skating. Kirkintilloch to Lennoxtown and back is approx 10k.
Literally everyday facing wind going the trail downward at late afternoon and evening Beginning of track grade A, then grade B. Slope eaten by countering wind and traffic lights. Heavily used 125 mm 86A wheels on used i...
Fantastic skate along the river side at Bo'ness past the Kenneil railway on some superb smooth tar. There is a 30m walk past the yacht club on gravel in the middle of the route.
Intermediate skate with some hills and rough surfaces. The route starts and finishes in Polmont because I live there. Check the picture to make it into a loop.
With the metro from de Pijp to Amsterdam Noord (10 minutes ride). Start of the skating tour at Amsterdam Noord metro stop. The tour ends at metro stop de Pijp. Thanks to Willem and Gerard who conceived the tour! To be...
lentebloesemtocht. I forgot to record the biggest part of the trail. But I copied the trail from Gerard who did the whole 60 km. The 40kms were the same with a 20 km loop less.
Through enschede and around Hengelo. A little bit of exploring routes :). Some more difficult traffic situations.
This route is in a new industrial area. It contains new bike routes and new concrete. Some parts are still under construction. You pass by a hidden lake where you can take a break. Almost no traffic and plenty of skate s...
I have only done about 6 miles of the route but I know it goes for over 14 miles!! Absolute cracker of a path which is very smooth and hilly in places to get some good speed on the descents. The section from Caldercruix ...
Really good smooth surface through the fields and onwards through the housing estate by Cotland Drive.
This starts out on a fairly smooth pedestrian walkway, then goes through the city over bumpy brick sidewalk, then to a really nice smooth cement bike path. Bumpy part is only about 2km, and is still rideable.
I have only ever done this trail at night so no idea what it is like in the day!! Lovely to skate in the dark though following the river.
