Difficulty resides traversing the middle crater rim since there's no path and running becomes a real challenge. There where goats also, many of them.

Highest mountain of the island, but i reach a cloudy sky and i didn't see the wonderful playa of Cofete. The way is lightly indicated with some cairns and i was happy to have downloaded the gpx trace. 3 hours to go and...
EN - The first section of the trail gains elevation progressively and soon starts off climbing a runnable section until Pico Viejo crater. From there the path becomes more challenging and difficult to follow specially wi...
Perhaps my most exciting run (trail run/hike) to date, using three different "dirt & rocks" mountain bike routes in the NW of the island of Fuerteventura (Canary islands). Started at the edge of the town of Corralejo, he...

Fast downhill run, some slippery and steep sections. A great race to participate in but this track is of course also nice for hiking. I fell and ended up getting stitches on my knee.
About 4h to get and come back, it was really awsome to get on the top and see the north face of the island ! In fact, this was my first trail and also the first challenge, and eveen if the climb is pretty hard I think th...
First part of MF1. Rugged and lose rocks. Mostly dirt road. MF1 continues I to super technical part. Nice valley scenery.
Perfect 20km short trail run, over lava flows and with fantastic views of El Teide and out to La Gomera.
Duration: 5 hours, 20 minutes The weather was perfect: sun with occasional cloud. I got the 10:35 bus to El Bailadero from La Laguna Intercambiador, which arrived around 11:45. The route across the mountains of An...
Beautiful technical trail. At the beginning for a long time through the river bed with some climbing passages to the waterfall (after approx. 6.5k, 500 m away from the actual trail, dead end way). Subsequently fluffy run...
Long path with a dynamic start, great view points in Tamanada, a more technical way down to Agaete, and a not that easy junction to Sardina del Norte: long part is a tricky unmarked path. Refill of water can be done at ...
Something is wrong regarding the elevation below, should be 1408 m according to my watch, do not consider what the app says below. What a beautiful Place Montana de tauro is! Rather technical trail in Montana de tauro ...
Beautiful track in the north of Tenerife Island, Canary Islands. As you can see in the profile, it starts next to the Pinolere Ethnographic Museum and Park, where you can park the car and the first 2k is a good climb. ...
Easy jogging and sightseeing. Beautiful roundtour with great views. Trail to embalse Bechijigua overgrown.
Great run from the Car Park of La Pared, bit of road at the start to warm up the legs, then trail all the way back. Amazing views and terain cross the clifts next to the coast and back. NB last beach Clif section is pre...
Trail from Morro del Jable passing through: - Puerto Morro Jable (pressed stop recording the route by mistake hence the start shows further away than it was) - Playa de Cofete (5.8 km) - Degollada del Cofete (8.7 km)
South of Alajero. Nobody lives there anymore. Very few hikers. Pretty old caminos. On Lomo del Revolcadero once grain was grown. Paths overgrown in places, but quite easy to walk through the old fields. Sightseeing. In ...
Down via Barranco Hondo. From San Sebastián up GR131. At 590m right, very pretty and well maintained trail to El Jorado. Along road to San Sebastián, then up to Casas El Higuaral and on to Ayamosna.
Tenerife, Aquamansa First a steep rise with few sights. Then a slow descent with beautiful views and narrow routes. Not recommended if fear of heights or bad balance. At least alone.
Puerto de las Nieves (Agaete) - Artenara via Tamanada. Beautiful trail, with the weather I had a bit slippery.
Most trails OK. Descending into Barranco de Erque started easy, last few 100 meters were difficult. Overgrown steep trail. Not very interesting part of Garajonay. Prettiest part is around Fortaleza.
Start at El Paso at 13°C, up-hill via Reventon Pass to Roques de Los Muchachos (2426m) Snow between 15 and 29 km, which I did not expect in that large amount. At the end very rocky downhill…really challenging.
El Moralito, El Palmar, Las Salinas. Trail from El Palmar to Taguluche is overgrown. All others are good and well marked. Remote and beautiful part of the island.
