Toyohashi Station East Exit
Toyohashi is located approximately 30 kilometers (19 miles) west of Hamamatsu, 64 kilometers (40 miles) east of Nagoya. Toyohashi Station is one of the stops for Shinkansen Kodama Express between Tokyo and Shinosaka. Toyohashi is best known by the home of hand-held fireworks called "Tezutsu Hanabi". Most of the visitors to Toyohashi start from the East Exit area because most of the touring attractions are close to the area including Toyohashi Park with the castle ruins of Yoshida-jo. East Exit is also the start of tram line.
Tokaido Main Line Toyohashi Station
Hamamatsu is only a half hour away from Toyohashi by using a local line called Tokaido-honsen or Tokaido (Main) Line.
Hamamatsu Station North Exit
When you reach Hamamatsu Station get out from north exit where you can start both downtown tours or bus rides to major touring destinations of Hamamatsu.
