Itinerary description
From Le Crotoy to Saint-Valery Sur Somme. An efficiently run railway. Well worth the run. A rather dull day but still good views of the salt flats. An interesting combination of rail gauge and a junction like Battersby junction in the North York Moors so you get two chances to see the loco "running round" when changing direction. Note:- Observe the external eccentric motion for valve timing.

If you need to go to the toilet, get off quick and rush to the other side of the red building (in photo) past the head of the train as there is only one and you will have to queue for ages if your late. Of course this assumes you are going straight back to Le Crotoy.
