🇪🇸 🇺🇸 | Via Ferrata Bolon (K1, K3 con tirolina // with zipline) | Elda (Alicante)

🇪🇸 Español: Vías ferratas del Bolon (Mirador de Elda K1 - Bolon K3 - Cuenta Montes K2), situadas en el pueblo de Elda (Alicante).

Se encuentra a unos 140km de Valencia. El acceso es muy fácil, ya que se encuentra justo a la salida de Elda. Hay un descampado amplio para aparcarse sin dificultad. Es importante inscribirse previamente, de manera gratuita. El enlace está al final de esta descripción.

Son vías ferratas nuevas, inauguradas en Diciembre de 2022. Se puede hacer de manera separadas o conjuntas. Entre la K1 y la K3, hay una tirolina de 110 metros. Se puede acceder sin realizar la K1. Al igual que se puede acceder a la K3 sin pasar por la tirolina.

Este track sigue las 3 vías ferratas con tirolina. Haciendo la ruta completa, la vía ferrata K2 es de descenso, lo que aumenta un poco la dificultad, aunque de poco ya que la mayoría del recorrido es tramo equipado, sin peldaños.

Está muy bien señalado todo, tanto las sendas como las vías de escape. Al final de la K3,. subimos hasta la Cruz para disfrutar de las vistas. Se puede bajar caminando desde allí o realizar el descenso por la K2. La vía ferrata K2 se puede realizar subiendo también.

En sí, la vía ferrata K3 tiene su nivel de dificultad ya que en varias ocasiones no hay peldaños y uno tiene que ayudarse con la roca. Por suerte, la roca es de buena calidad y siempre encontrarás pies y manos.

🇺🇸 English: Bolon via ferratas (Mirador de Elda K1 - Bolon K3 - Cuenta Montes K2), located in the town of Elda (Alicante).

This place is located about 140km from Valencia. Access is very easy, as it is located right at the exit of Elda. There is a wide open space to park easily. It is important to register with the City Hall in advance, free of charge. The link is at the end of this description.

These are new via ferrata, inaugurated in December 2022. They can be done separately or together. Between the K1 and K3 sections there is a 110-meter zip line. It can be accessed without doing the K1. Just like you can access K3 without going through the zip line.

This track goes counter-clockwise and follows the 3 via ferrata with zip line. Making the entire route, the K2 via ferrata is downhill, which increases the difficulty a bit, although not much since most of the route is an equipped section, without steps.

Everything is very well-marked, both the paths and the escape routes. At the end of K3, we went up to the Cross to enjoy the views and rest for a bit. You can walk down from there or go down the K2. The K2 via ferrata can also be done going up.

In itself, the K3 via ferrata has its level of difficulty since on several occasions there are no steps and you have to hold onto the rock. Luckily, the rock is of good quality and you will always find holds and steps.
