Itinerary description
We started at the wrong place and in error did a hard section that is exclusively for espeleo/canyoning climbers… then we realized we should have started much lower down nearer the river along an easy K2, almost all horizontal with a good but optional zip line . The views over the river are gorgeous and well worth it, at the end you can escape and walk along a long tunnel back to car park or you can go upwards on to the ‘sports section’ which they class as K4 but in fact it’s only max K3. It’s an easy vertical climb which extends the experience nicely, with two short bridges, but almost no overhang difficulty at all…
We found out afterwards that you should pay… but we didn’t know and it was difficult to find the start of the ferrata at all… like they were keeping it a secret!
I don’t think the app recognizes climbing as it says we were only moving 16 minutes but we didn’t stop moving for at least 2 hours!
