Itinerary description
🍁 The "Brana de las Cadenas" is a perfect, short route to hike with kids in autumn. If you're there at the right time (like we 😀), you will enjoy the spectacular colors of the las Ubinas la Mesa Nature Park. These colors are caused by the Hayedo de Montegrande, one of Asturias' largest beach forests.
🔍 The route is 4.5 km in total (there and back) with a slight difference 150 m) in elevation. At the start of the route, you'll find an information panel, and it's impossible to get lost afterwards.
🐂 The route ends at a precious Brana; a plain piece of grassland where historically, shepherds let their livestock graze in spring and summer. From there, it's the same way back.
