Itinerary description
Bridge, beach and birds!
This is the flattest, easiest, prettiest walk possible! Plenty of parking near the start, then cross the first footbridge over the Río Guadalhorce and go straight ahead to cross the beautiful new “wavy” wooden bridge (very photogenic!). Worth going all the way across to see the views from below it.
Then cross back towards the start, but this time turn sharp left into the bird reserve. Follow the track round, passing the first two observatorios (bird hides) which overlook the lagoons, until you reach the beach. Turn left and follow the beach as far as the stone track, and turn left to pass two more observatorios and to return to the start.
