Waypoints
1st stop:Mirador del Cambrón
1st picture: In this place, we can see badlands. This rocks are soft, like clay and sandstone , shaped by the water of the rain. Here rains a lot but sporadically. In this zone we can find a semi-arid climate, so the vegetation is very scarce, but we can find bushes adapted to this climate. In the base of the structure we can find limestone and other hard rocks. 2nd picture: In the picture we see eroded clay, that because of the geological external agents has created an uneven and hilly landscape. We might see crops or vines, but also rosemary and thyme.
2nd stop:Meander of Tajo river
This place is made up by soft rocks(clay or sandstone). The erosion happens at both sides of the meander. When the river loses energy is going to avoid the hardest rocks and as a result of this we obtain meanders.
3rd stop:Mirador de los Enebros
In this place, we can find different vegetation. In the hills, we can see old junipers, the fruit of gin, esparto or brooms. While at the riverbed we can see rushes or reeds, which are plants that need more water.
4th stop:Meander in Toledo(mirador del valle)
We can find metamorphic rocks(gneiss and quartzite), so the erosion is created at the riverbed. The vegetation in here is rivera's one. There might be some ducks and amphibians.
