Itinerary description
We started to follow another persons trail - the start is steep and rough up a cliff face - the path then becomes easier but there are so many rocks on the path it makes for an uncomfortable walk with risk of twisting ankles. We went inland on way back that was more interesting with many tortoises en route - but ended up at the back of the Playa Romantica derelict holiday village - we could almost see our car in the car park but a security guard turned us back and we had to retrace our steps and return back over the mountain and back down the cliff face. Another one hour walk. Interesting but not recommende!

After our meeting with the security guard at the derelict Playa Romantica holiday village, we were sent back to return via the mountain path back to the Playa. We placed this guide to ensure walkers don’t continue any further… it’s a long way back!
