Short walk of about 10 minutes that takes you from the top station of the ski lifts to the top of Chopok at Demanovska Dolina. Incredible view of the Little Tatras and the Tatra Mountains on the horizon. Track edited.
Going up with the lifts is not cheap at all: a good 58 € for two to make two tranches of round-trip eggs, plus €10 for a flat rate parking. It is a very touristic place.
To get to Chopok you have to go down a few meters alongside the top station of the lifts aiming towards a refuge with a red roof and take the beautiful path on the left which with a few zigzags leads to the top at 2024 masl. The place is very nice even if a bit devastated by old buildings and repeaters. However, it's not worth the €68 spent to get there, unless you want to take a nice 900-metre hike from the village.
