Itinerary description
A saída encontra-se junto ao museu de Conímbriga, por um lindo caminho, pouco depois encontra-se à direita a saída para o trilho, esta é a única parte onde é possível se passar. Se encontramos o trilho, depois é fácil de seguir. Em alguns pontos o trilho tem fortes pendentes irregulares, mas encontram-se muito bem equipadas com corrimãos e cabos metálicos que são uma grande ajuda. A cascata e o rio habituam a estar secos durante o verão e até as primeiras chuvas, mas mesmo assim é um passeio muito agradável por uma floresta nativa incrivelmente diversa e com abundante sombra.
The trip starts through a beautiful rural path exiting from the back side of the Conimbriga museum, then a not too obvious trail to the right will lead us to the river and waterfall. The trail is easy to follow, and although it has some spots which are steep and rocky, those are well equipped with wooden handrails and iron cables that are very helpful. The river and waterfall are seasonal, meaning that they are usually dry during summer and until the first rains, it is still a wonderful walk through a highly diverse native forest with abundant shade.

Very nice…beautiful place though the waterfall wasn’t there (even in January).
We tried the course with a stroller but that was certainly a bad idea…
