Itinerary description
Starting at Estadio Cartaganova, a lovely walk along the rambla, towards Algameca Chica, turning off on tarred Road then uphill on a good path until you reach the Castle. Over the top there is a rocky descent to a lower coastal path which circles back round to the bottom of the castle path, passing the Mirador Cariño en route. It is then retracing your way back to starting point. Lovely walk, quite easy with only the small section where you descend from the castle where it is a bit more difficult and rocky. Walking poles are handy for this bit but not essential Around 10km round trip. Around 2 and a half hours at easy pace.
