Itinerary description

Visiting friends in PT, this walk served as a good introduction to Badajoz just across the border. I parked close to the Puente de Palmas and started from there. The walk then takes one through the Puerta Palmas, further along the Rio Guardiano, and then back to the centre including the Plaza de España with the Town Hall, the Plaza Alta and the Moors' Castle (Alcazaba).
