Itinerary description
Beautiful trail that goes through the coast line around 20 meters above sea level and although the second half is unpaved it is a compacted flat surface it is perfectly suitable for wheelchairs. The city council has installed metal ramps to avoid the few stairs that you'll meet along the path. There is an electrical elevator as well (see waypoint) that lets you leave the concrete and get into the unpaved (and way more beautiful) coast trail.
We hope in the future that the city council will adapt the full trail.

Este camino fué acondicionado hace unos 7 años pero se dejaron en varios puntos tramos de escaleras, en concreto junto al Hotel de la Gavina hay uno con varios escalones que impide entrar en el camino.
Para subsanar este desaguisado el ayuntamiento de Platja d'Aro instaló, hace unos 3 años, una plataforma elevadora en la Plaza de la Gacela dentro de la Urbanización, a los pocos días de entrar en funcionamiento se averió sin que hasta el día de hoy haya vuelto a funcionar a pesar de las reclamaciones. De todas formas aunque entre en funcionamiento sólo permite recorrer unos 800m puesto que existen otros tramos de escaleras.
Gracias Silvio, he modificado el icono. Es una pena que no funcione el ascensor y que no se haya preparado en su totalidad, puesto que el lugar es precioso.
