Itinerary description
Comares - Ruta del Lavadero.
A very pleasant circular route. Park in the large free parking area approaching la Puerta de Málaga. The route begins through the small arch and explores the village viewpoints before striking out on footpaths. The “loop” half way round should not be missed out, as that is where El Lavadero is. It might well be worth parking just near where the Lavadero loop begins and doing the circular route from there, thus having the climb first, a coffee/beer break half way round in Comares, and finishing with the downhill part.
