ESP.
ENG. PERSONAL APPRECIATION
Simple route like all those in the area as it is practically flat in which you visit some areas of Kastrup, especially the port and coastline. I go to the airport and its landing area to see some planes and I also visit the modern buildings of Ferring and the Den Bla Planet Aquarium in the coastal area, which is very peculiar. The views from the ports and coastline are extraordinary and on clear days you can perfectly see the buildings of Sweden with its Turning Torso by Calatrava, the Nordre Rose Fyr lighthouse and the Oresund tunnel bridge that connects DK with Sweden.
You have to excuse that some special Danish letters are not spelled correctly in some names, such as the united ae or the broken O.
Kastrup is the area where the Copenhagen airport is located, a quiet neighborhood of low buildings and individual houses, near to the beach area. It is a beautiful area with many places of interest and exceptional views, the water and the sea are the general theme in all tours of the area and on clear days you can clearly see the Swedish coast and the spectacular Turning Torso skyscraper. I have done several outings in the area, on foot and by bike and the truth is that each time the views of the sea are different since the weather is quite changeable and as soon as it is cloudy as there is a radiant sun, with clouds, without clouds, with a flat, rippled, blue, green sea, the truth is that the light at all times completely changes our perception and the most obvious sensation at all times is that of the impact on the way of life as opposed to the Mediterranean way of life, also that feeling of tranquility since the streets are much safer and people do not move with so much tension. If, as in my case, you also have the opportunity to live real life, day-to-day life instead of the image that a tourist who only looks for emblematic places gets, the truth is that culture shock is important. I have known Denmark for many years and now its inhabitants have become closer to the European style, just as we Spaniards have done, but in any case their way of life is essentially very different from ours and in many ways it is a way of enviable life. That is my perception throughout more than 30 years, you may have a different one.
EXPLANATION
I start the tour in Kastrup passing by the Kastrup church, Kastrup Kirke, I continue through quiet streets until I cross under the M2 metro tracks, I arrive at the coastal area and arrive at the airport, then I go to the landing area to see some planes arrive already that there are good views and I go back to make my way back. On the way back I enter to the right to see a boat mooring area and at its tip there are very good views of the Oresunds bridge / tunnel and of the Swedish coastline in the distance with the view of the spectacular Turning Torso, the skyscraper designed by the Spanish architect Calatrava, I tour the area and pass by a swan that has made its nest on the ramp through which boats enter the water, then I pass by some beautiful port buildings with a very old air. I enter an area called Soundport where the Ferring building is located where there are also beautiful views of the coastline and the coasts of Sweden. Then I pass in front of a historic building and go to visit some very original saunas that are near the Aquarium of Copenhagen Den Blà Planet, Blue Planet. I visit the Aquarium area and then I go through the Strandpark promenade where I arrive at the Kastrup Strandpark port, also with great views, swans, sailing sports and other activities. Then I pass by the Kolossen statue and head to the starting point although I take a street to the right to go through a quiet area of low houses very characteristic of the area, I go through the shopping center and then finally through a park area children to finish at the starting point.
