Itinerary description
This is a lovely walk. The map does not show all of the walk - we did it as a circular loop. We did it in early May and it was 30+ degrees in Alajar throughout the day. There is a fair amount of shade along the lovely secluded pathways of this route, to go along with quite a bit of ascent/descent. I am in my 60s and I will admit that I was not unhappy to see the white walls of the church at the end of the walk!
One piece of advice: the car directions offered from this app through Google Maps drop you about a kilometre short of the start of the walk. If you’re in the car just do the next two hairpins and you’re there. If you’re walking, bask in the virtue of doing a couple more kilometres than you were planning for!
