Itinerary description
Our first day in Funchal.
We visited shop O Bordao (to buy camping gas) - Santa Catarina Park - Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption - Praia do Almirante Reis (Beach) - Madeira Botanical Garden - then we used cable car and get to the Church of our lady of Monte - Quinta Jardins do Imperador - Then on sleds (local tourist attraction) we returned to city center, found SAM bus station (to be sure from which point we will go next day) and then visited Fortaleza do Pico (you can not get inside but there are beautiful views from there and returned to hostel.
