Itinerary description

A beautiful route watching over the artificial fish ponds and the agriculture fields below the Gilboa.

The way I did it the descent was a lot steeper and there were a lot of "ladders" to climb down. After that there was a long walk back to the car.

It would have been better to park between Beit Alfa and Heftziba and do the whole route in the opposite direction. That way you climb the ladders and walk down on the dirt-road.

So apparently I came up on the unmarked dirt-road and the green route on which I started to walk, was in a slightly different direction.

I took the green route here and then soon I lost the marks and walked in the wilderness just to find the green mark again some 10-15 min later. It is probably much better to stay on the black route.

I came up more-or-less on the black and later went down on the red. I guess it would have been better the other way around.

I took some photos at the viewpoint but frankly the view on the way up and on the way down was much better than at the top.
