Plaça del rei

The “Plaça del Rei”, it’s located in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona surrounded by gothic buildings of the “Palau Reial”. The square it built in the second half of the century XIV, but over time the structure it was damage, it was rebuilding more times. There isn’t an official architect, because there were more architects that were building.

Santa Ágata

Was created in the XIV century This chapel belongs to the Gothic Architecture. Was commanded to build by King James II of Aragon and his wife Blanche of Naples. The chapel suffered the disentailment in the 1835, in 1856 Elies Rogent did a restoration. In the decade of 1990 Jordi Casadevall and Alfred Pastor did a new restoration.

Catedral de Barcelona

The construction of the cathedral of Barcelona began in 1298. The building was made in three phases. The total building was made-it in 150 years, and like many religious buildings it had to be built slowly, at the end of the nineteenth century, the main facade and finally the lantern tower (to for don’t know what is lantern tower it is the base of a dome) was built in 1913. ARCHITECTS: Jaime Fabre, Bertran Riquer, Bernat Roca Arnau Barges, Jaume Solà, Bartolomé Gual, Andrés Escuder, Josep Oriol and August Font, is located in Pla de la Seu

Palau Reial

The Palau Reial is composed by three principal buildings: the Palatine Chapel of Santa Agata, the Tinell room, that was built by Guillem Carbonell under the orders of Pere el Cerimoniós between the years 1359 and 1362 and the Verger. Posteriorly, in the year 1549, was built the Palau del Lloctinent, built by Antoni Carbonell, by generalitat de Catalunya.

Palau Episcopal

Timeline-date: Start = S XIII End = S XVIII Architects: Pere Isern, Mateu Capdevila, Antoni Carbonell, Pedro de Lucuce, José Mas Dordal, Tomàs Soler i Ferrer i Enric Sagnier. It is located between the new square, the streets Bisbe, Palla and Montjuïc del Bisbe and the squares Frederic Marès, san Felipe Neri i garriga i bachs.The building originates from the 19th century with further interventions in 1681,1769.
