Grazalema Pueblo
What can I say about Grazalema that hasn’t already been said?
It was voted in 2017, the most beautiful village in Spain.
It is also famed for having the highest rainfall in Spain, with its own microclimate.
It is a hiker’s paradise with over 30 walks in the Sierra de Grazalema.
This short walk starting from the Plaza de España and meandering through the cobbled streets takes in three of its churches namely:
Iglesia de la Aurora, Iglesia de la Encarnación, and Iglesia de San José.
You also pass the Mirador de Asomaderos and the Mirador de los Peñascos; and also the statute of El Toro de Cuerda.
What a lovely little village (big in character).
So looking forward to my next visit.
The Villa Turistica Hotel was great value for money, and so was their breakfast. It has fantastic views of the village and the Peñon Grande.
