Turn right over the bridge and continue straight ahead out of Örimagyrósd

Turn left and continue straight along the bitumen road into Szoknyér and the T junction

Turn left at the T junction (small church on LHS and old fire truck on RHS). Continue along road out of Szakyner until first road RHS at the bottom of the small decline

Exit the forest and continue to walk straight ahead along the tree line on RHS and field on LHS

Just after road curves to the left, turn right down the middle of the fields on the grassy track and follow it as it curves left the right to the bitumen road

Cross the bitumen road and continue straight ahead along the smaller bitumen road towards Csöde

Continue over train line and straight ahead, over a green bridge and into and through Csöde

Leave Csöde and continue along the road as it goes gently uphill

Don’t worry that the road re-entrers Csöde … it’s a the small village that keeps giving! Continue ahead and follow the bitumen road as it curves to the left

Leave Csöde again and continue straight ahead into the forest. There is a small shelter and picnic spot on LHS

Turn right at the T junction with a timber mill and continue straight ahead. After you turn right, ignore the road to right and continue ahead - the waymarkers may be painted over here as paint marks often indicate which timber will be cut

When the forest finishes and fields start, turn left and continue along the road with forest on LHS and field on RHS. Continue to the T junction and turn right. There are some tricky turns ahead where there was nowhere to mark. Follow the map (except for the small section where the way marker didn’t turn left and continued before getting back on track!)

Turn left and towards the church spire you can see in the small village ahead. There is also a church spire in the village straight ahead which was visible before … but don’t continue straight ahead! This is a difficult corner to way-mark. Beware - The way marker initially went straight instead of turning!

Turn right. After you turn, you will see a bus stop on RHS

Cross the bridge over a small creek

Turn left off the bitumen road and follow the dirt farm road. There are again some tricky spots ahead where there is nowhere to waymark. You might prefer to continue along the bitumen road approx 800m ahead. When you get to the busier bitumen road, turn left and follow the road straight ahead into Csesztreg. The ‘off road’ track comes out onto the busier road approx 2.5km ahead.

Turn right at the treelike on LHS and cross into the fields. There is an arrow on THS at ground level but nowhere to waymark ahead. Continue away from tree line and walk diagonally across the field on a grassy farm track.

Follow grassy trail diagonally across the field and towards the trees in the distance. In May there was a yellow canola field on the RHS but this field may be planted with a different crop once the canola is harvested. When you get to the tree line ahead, follow the grassy track to the left along the tree line and very soon after turn right and then right again along the other side of the tree line and continue straight ahead.

Turn right between the trees then right again immediate after the tree line and follow the grassy track straight ahead. This was another tricky place to mark (although the way marker borrowed a fence post but it was very narrow so the orange directional arrow is more like a line!)

Continue straight ahead towards the houses on LHS and a cemetery on RHS

Turn left into Kerkaújfalu and continue along the bitumen road into Csesztreg

As you enter Csesztreg the road curves to the left away from the church on RHS

Turn left onto Déak Ferenc utca and the accommodation ahead on LHS. As you turn into Déak Ferenc utca you pass the Közsegháza (town hall) and a post office RHS and school LHS.
