Conveniently located and moderately priced ByGarasjen Parking (150 NOK/day in 2016). Leave the carpark via the 'Bergen Storsenter' shopping mall. Since our visit started with rain we immediatly went for the KODE Kunstmuseene to view some of the works of the famous Norwegian painter Edvard Munch. The remainder of the route takes you first to the harbour, and the attractive neighbourhoods with wooden houses on the lower slopes. You may decide to include a trip with the Floyen bahn to mount floyen to admire the views. The descends starts after a visit to the Bergenhus Festung. Of course the next stop is UNESCO site, Bryggen, the historic warf with wooden houses, hidden behind the facade of some impressing wooden buildngs.
