Itinerary description
There are quite a number of places where you can park your car near the tourist info of the Vall de Pop but as it was a busy sunday with beautiful weather and many people on the move admiring the blossoming almond trees we parked the car immediately after passing the bridge across the River Gorgos where there is ample parking space.
The walk is very pleasant, it will lead you along and through magnificently blossoming almond tree orchards (if you do this walk in February) as well as past orange groves and plains of olive trees and vineyards.
The plains of Jalón/Xaló are surrounded by mountains which makes the scenery even more impressive.
Once having passed Alcalali you will leave traffic and people behind and walk though the country side, rising gradually from 220 to 320 metres and then slowly descend again back to the starting point.

Great walk. The beginning of one segment had been covered in brush so you need to walk around a little.
