La Cala – Cabopino Marina
This walk starts from the Bateria Tower and uses the Senda Litoral to go all the way to Cabopino Marina.
At the start it was very busy around La Cala but as you reach Riviera there are a lot less people. This part of the Senda Litoral is very popular with people doing their daily constitutional or their steps for their Fitbits etc.
Enroute you pass the Torre Calahonda and numerous information panels about birds and sea life.
The return trip I like to do on the sand as it’s a good workout for the legs, and also I like to beachcomb. In places the sea was a bit rough and there wasn’t any sand so I had to get back onto the Senda litoral for a bit.
There are lots of bars and chiringuitos to stop off and have a coffee.
A great flat route to get some sea air, sun, and listen to the waves.
