Itinerary description

walk around the lake..we were parked at the picnic area north of lake ..map did not show a loop around only for one side..so i tried to find a way round with out using the road..but still not possible as at the southern tip , took a line following farmers field and a lot of bog and march area and no real indication of a path..
But from the picnic area the path is marked and well used ..follows in some thick bushes on one side and opens out into a large track..at the end of lake, there is a barrage leading to another r feeding lake, small path to the left of this i took..very narrow and not used much..and opens out into an area of ..I think bird hunting and strange traps with wire up into the trees....from here to return to the track on the lake was a very overgrown section..40 mt or more ..needed stick to fight thru brambles..retuned back ot the parking
