Itinerary description
Lac le Lauvitel.
Nice walk for the family. Our 5yo boy walked up alone. He enjoyed every little waterfall and all insects (Crickets mainly)
Our 2.5yo enjoyed the walk in my backpack. (Pfff 20kilo's 2h up and 2h down, I'm not 22 anymore :-) )
It was warm in the vally (30°C), but with walking in the shadows of the forrest it was bareable.
The views were magnificent.
Our boy got a bit tired after 5hrs, But with the promise of a huge icecream he succeeded the tour.
In La Danchere is a nice lovelly garden-bar where you can rebuild your energy with a delicious cold beer.

Easy to follow

We loved this hike. Easy to follow. The way towards the lake was hot and a bit steep at times. But the way back was mainly in the shadows.
Would advise to bring your bathingsuit on hot days for a recharge in the cold lake.
