Itinerary description
Lagos de Saliencia is one of the two more famous routes in Somiedo Natural Park (the other one is to Lago de Valle). We parked our car at the spacious parking of Alto de la Farrapona, just at the border with Castille and Leon. From there, we walked to three different lakes: Lago de la Cueva, Laguna de Almagrera and, with quite a steep ascent, Lago Cerveriz. Impressive views and the route is very well accessible, also with children (either on your back or walking themselves). One of the best hikes we did in Asturias thus far!
