Itinerary description

This walk starts off from Car Park B (East Coast Park, free parking) and follows the paved pathway along ECP highway. A short exposed stretch (bordering construction) leads to the Gardens by the Bay East. From there, the path loops southwards towards Marina Barrage, crosses the mouth of Marina Bay and the skirts northwest along the Gardens by the Bay. You can easily detour here to take in the sights of the Bay. Passing directly under the domes, you then end up in Marina Bay Sands, with the possibility of stopping here for retail therapy. A scenic walk over the Helix bridge allows spectacular views of CBD. From then, it's a bit of a city scramble to the foot of the pathway which will lead over the Sheares bridge - a long, hot walk with beautiful views of the Gardens by the Bay. A flight of stairs leads you down to the GBTB East, and you can complete the loop back to car park B. This route can be pretty exposed in parts, and a (very early) start is recommended.
