Itinerary description

This walk started from Maro car park heading down towards Maro beach and then up through a rough track and winding paths. Some parts narrow and shaley. There is a rough stair way up to the tower which is not so easy to navigate for anyone with mobility issues or scared of open heights.
Spectacular views from the tower back to Nerja and over to La Heradurra. We took the road way back as we felt going down the stairs was too dangerous.
I would not advise following this route after rain as it would be slippery.
We were following another trail on here which states the walk as gentle and easy. I’d say for walkers it’s more of a moderate trail.
