Mirador de Guadalhorce – Punta Torremolinos

This is an easy walk from the Mirador de Guadalhorce in Guadalmar all the way to Punta Torremolinos.

Parking isn’t an issue, there is plenty parking (weekends will probably be a lot busier). I like to park near the parish Santa Maria Estrella de los Mares, as the car stays mostly in the shade.
From here walk to the entrance for Parque del Guadalhorce, and then walk parallel to the Guadalhorce River until you reach the small Mirador.
This senda litoral passes through several beaches: - Playa de San Julian, Playa nudista Guadalmar, Playa del campo de Golf, Playa de los Alamos, Playamar and Playa del Bajondillio.

The Playa del campo de Golf (also a nudist beach) is on the flight path to Malaga airport which is just one kilometre away, and is ideal for plane spotting.

The boardwalk in Torremolinos is very pleasant and there are lots of restaurants and chiringuitos to choose from.

For a bit of fun I did the return journey on the beach.
2/3 of this walk is on sand so it can be a little heavy going on your feet.

You get some lovely views on this walk and also a lovely sea breeze.
